Get to know the incredible team that brings We Amplify Voices Programs to life through our Staff Spotlight Series. This special feature spotlights our two staff members who directly oversee all of WAV's youth programs. We're very excited to introduce Helen Tewolde and Sefora Seyoum.

Meet Ray Mathew-Santhosham, MSW, LSW— author, creator, and collage artist. Ray partnered with WAV to lead Puzzling Pictures: Creativity, Coping, and Collaging in the LGBTQ+ Community, a workshop series that uses collage-making as a creative, trauma-informed practice to support personal and collective healing. This blog shares resources and inspiration for bringing creative coping practices into your own life or gathering with friends.

Young people have so much creativity inside them, and at WAV, we create a space that encourages students to explore that part of themselves while leading them through projects designed to help them express their emotions and feel confident in who they are. This summer, students in kindergarten through third grade did just that through Columbus City Schools’ Summer Experience Program at Olde Orchard Elementary.
