What started as a songwriting program for elementary students has grown into something far bigger than we ever imagined. From classrooms to community stages, from youth to adults, and from one program to a thriving ecosystem of creative expression, We Amplify Voices has grown and evolved alongside this community.

For 15 years, WAV has created opportunities to people together to share their experiences, emotions, and ideas, and collectively turn those conversations into art. Through our trauma-informed programs, we use proven social and emotional learning (SEL) practices to support participants at critical moments—whether they are navigating school pressures, cycles of poverty, addiction, homelessness, or other challenging circumstances.
Since our founding, we’ve built a strong foundation of creative, community-centered programs that continue to grow alongside the needs of those we serve. But this story is still being written.
